Karen Strauch

 


Educational Experience:

Bachelor of Arts degree Cum Laude in Education from Beloit College, Beloit, Wisconsin.

She was President of Delta Delta Delta Sorority, a “Sweetheart of Beta Theta Pi” (Ern’s fraternity), and member of Rho Omega Mu Honorary.

During summer “vacations” Karen was found taking many Continuing Education courses from UC Riverside, UC San Bernardino, and Fresno Pacific College. Musical background and training include piano and voice.

California Math Project Trainer for State Dept. of Education

Federally funded, (Chapter 1) Math Program Administrator for 8 years

Member, Sedona Westerners’ hiking club

Volunteer, Sedona Humane Society Dog-Walker

Served on 4 election campaign committees for Sedona City Council


Served on the Steering Committee and Fundraising Chairperson for the successful Recall Election Campaign of 3 members of the Sedona Fire Board


Interests include:

Horseback riding, hiking, skiing, reading, Chamber Music and National, State and local political affairs.
